Who we are

ARM BOXING is a youth boxing gym in Sarasota, Florida operated by ARMBOXING LLC. This policy describes what information we collect from parents and guardians who enroll a child at the gym, and how we use it.

What we collect

• Enrollment information: the child's name, date of birth, and a profile photo; the parent/guardian's name, mobile phone number, and (optionally) email address.
• Signed documents: the membership agreement and liability waiver signatures captured at enrollment.
• Payment information: card details are collected and stored by Stripe, Inc., our payment processor. Card numbers never touch our systems; we retain only a secure payment token, and payment records (amounts, dates, receipts).
• Messages: a log of the notifications we send you and your replies (for example, STOP requests).

How we use it

• To manage your child's membership: enrollment, class administration, and billing.
• To send service notifications by SMS — payment receipts, billing reminders, schedule changes, and gym announcements — only if you opted in by checking a standalone SMS-consent box, either on our public sign-up form at armboxing.us/signup or in person on the gym's registration tablet at enrollment.
• To process membership payments through Stripe.

Text messaging (SMS)

SMS notifications are opt-in: you choose whether to receive them by actively checking a standalone consent box that is unchecked by default. There are two places this happens, and the consent wording and disclosures are identical in both: our public sign-up form at armboxing.us/signup, and in person on the gym's registration tablet at enrollment. In neither case is SMS consent bundled into the membership agreement or the liability waiver — signing those documents does not opt you in to text messages (typically 2–6 messages per month; message and data rates may apply). You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, or opt back in by replying START. Reply HELP for assistance. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties.

How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers necessary to operate the gym — Stripe, Inc. (payment processing) and our SMS messaging provider (message delivery only) — and where required by law. If you use a Florida school-choice scholarship (e.g., Step Up For Students), we share enrollment and payment records with the scholarship organization as needed to process funding.

Mobile information and SMS consent

We do not share, sell, rent, or otherwise provide your mobile phone number or SMS consent information to any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. The only exception is our SMS messaging provider and mobile carriers, who receive your mobile number solely to deliver the messages you requested and may not use it for any other purpose. Mobile numbers and SMS consent are never shared with the scholarship organization, Stripe, or any other party.

Photos

The child's profile photo is used only for internal member identification. Photos or video are published on our social media only with a separate, optional consent given at enrollment, which you may decline or withdraw at any time.

Retention & security

Records are kept while the membership is active and for the period required for tax, accounting, and legal purposes, then deleted. Data is stored on access-controlled servers; payment card data is handled exclusively by Stripe (PCI-DSS certified).

Your choices

You may request a copy, correction, or deletion of your information, withdraw photo or SMS consent, or cancel autopay at any time by contacting the front desk.
